Shipping and Policies

Orders ship within 2-4 business days. You will get an email with a tracking number when your order ships, so that you know to look for it.

Domestic Shipping

We ship the most simple, inexpensive way: using USPS First Class or Priority, depending on order size.

Orders over $110 ship free in the US!

Orders $110 or less ship for $8 flat rate

International Shipping

Our website pulls rates directly from USPS/UPS based on your shopping cart contents and delivery address. If multiple shipping options are available to your location, you will be able to choose which method you want during the checkout process.

Customs

International customers are responsible for any customs, duties, or taxes collected by their governments.

Online Returns

If your order arrives and you are not 100% satisfied, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can work with you to make it right.

We accept returns within 30 days. Once the item arrives back to us, a refund will be made to your original payment method. Please note, no refunds can be given for shipping & handling charges.

No returns on sale items, pre-orders, books, patterns, or sewing machines and machine accessories.

All returns must be in original condition and packaging and they must not have odors (like mothballs or cigarette smoke) on them. When returning an order that received free shipping, a $9.99 fee applies.

Sales Tax

We have prepared this sales tax policy statement to explain to you when and why we collect sales tax on your purchases.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Even if we do not collect sales tax from you, you may owe sales tax on your purchase if you live in the US. Unless you live in Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire, or Oregon, your state most likely requires purchasers to report and pay tax on all purchases that are not taxed at the time of sale. The tax may be reported and paid on your individual income tax return or by filing a consumer use tax return. For more information, please visit your state’s department of revenue website.

GOTHAM QUILTS, LLC COLLECTS SALES TAX in states where we have physical presence (or nexus), including New York.

GOTHAM QUILTS, LLC DOES NOT COLLECT SALES TAX in any state NOT listed above because Gotham Quilts, LLC is not required to collect sales or use tax in these states.

FOR OUR TAX-EXEMPT CUSTOMERS:
GOTHAM QUILTS, LLC DOES NOT COLLECT SALES TAX if we have your exemption certificate on file. 

Class Cancelation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule your class registration, we are happy to accommodate changes made at least 3 days before the start of your class. You can choose a different class session or receive a store credit towards a future class registration. Please call us at 212-220-3958 or email us@gothamquilts.com to make the change. Please note that cancelations or changes within 3 days of the class date are not eligible for a credit or refund.
