The Bella Quilt Coat beautifully blends the art of quilting with the functionality of outerwear! This relaxed-fit quilted jacket is available in ten sizes and is fully lined. It features set-in sleeves, inseam pockets, a zippered front closure with a guard, and a sporty collar that is both stylish and functional.

Choose from two views and get creative styling your coat with appliqué, foundation paper piecing, or blockwork. View A includes a decorative yoke on the front and back, as well as a contrasting collar. Optional Accent Sleeves may be added to either view!

• Comprehensive Instructions: Includes a 26-page instructional booklet with illustrations, a fabric key, body and finished measurements, and guided instruction on measuring for your ideal fit.
• Cutting & Styling Guides: Features cutting charts for main/contrasting fabrics, a cutting layout for lining and batting, plus design elements and styling diagrams to help you create your unique coat.
• Pattern Sheets: Comes with 3 full-size paper pattern sheets containing a size key, symbols, and measurement charts.

Skill Level & Required Techniques

• Skill Level: Suitable for the adventurous beginner or intermediate sewist.
• Quilting Skills: Basic quilting skills required, including previous experience using a walking foot, knowledge of quilting rulers, and marking quilting lines/motifs.
• Sewing Skills: Standard machine sewing (fully lined with enclosed seams, no binding). Requires sewing straight seams with a working knowledge of basic seam allowances (including ½" construction, plus ¼" and ⅛" topstitching).
• Garment Techniques: Must be comfortable inserting inseam pockets and a basic separating zipper with a zipper guard.
