What are THREAD talks?
THREAD talks is a virtual lecture series featuring a new guest speaker each month.
Lectures are live at 8pm Eastern time on the first Wednesday of each month, and cover all sorts of topics of interest to quilters and makers.
Each lecture is $35, or you can join Club Gotham to get a year's worth of THREAD talks for just $125!

Inside My Design Process
Join award-winning quilt designer Sarah Fielke for a relaxed exploration of her creative process — how inspiration turns into ideas, and ideas become quilts. She’ll talk about composition, color, scale, and texture, and how play, experimentation, and iteration shape her decisions. A calm, visual session for makers who want a peek into the instincts of a design master.
Meet Sarah
Sarah Fielke is an award-winning quilt designer and teacher from Sydney with 25 years in the industry. She’s the author of 19 best-selling books (over 200,000 copies sold and translated into five languages) and the creator of widely followed Block-of-the-Month programs with more than 2,000 annual subscribers. Sarah also produces video instruction (including Craftsy classes), has designed fabric collections for Lecien (Japan), Spotlight (Australia) and Windham (USA), and collaborated with Tula Pink on the FreeSpirit Big Woods BOM. A longtime Aurifil designer with three collections to her name, she teaches worldwide and brings practical, visual guidance that helps makers turn ideas into finished quilts.
