Quota Quilt Along

Have you heard?

Starting May 1st, we're hosting a Quota Quilt Along!

We're so proud of Andrea's new design, and we want to celebrate with you! What better way is there than to have a two month long party while we all make an art quilt together?

We will cover all steps of creating your own version of Quota, from fabric selection all the way through quilting and binding. 

Quota is the perfect quilt to give modern quilt making a try. The pattern uses large cuts of fabric, so piecing your top will come together quickly. We're also leaving plenty of room in the schedule to play with quilting and get as fancy as you like!

The Quota Quilt Along will last 8 weeks.

We will have on-demand video instruction, live Q&A sessions, prizes for participants, and a special quilt label for people who finish their project.

• 5/1 - Week 1 - Welcome, fabric selections, fabric prep, template prep
• 5/4 - Live Q&A - 3pm ET
• 5/8 - Week 2 - Cutting

• 5/15 - Week 3 - HST & QST

• 5/22 - Week 4 - HRT & Assembly

• 5/29 - Week 5 - Appliqué
• 6/1 - Live Q&A - 3pm ET
• 6/5 - Week 6 - Quilt Plan

• 6/12 - Week 7 - Quilting 

• 6/19 - Week 8 - Binding & Label
• 6/22 - Live Q&A - 3pm ET

How to participate

This quilt along will be hosted in the Gotham Quilts community. (it's free to join!)

All participants are required to have a copy of the pattern, which was included in the 2024 QuiltCon Magazine. You can get a copy here. 

QAL videos will be available for viewing until 12/31/2024.
