The Sylvia Sew Along starts July 1st!

Today we're debuting the newest Threadsome wool applique pattern, Sylvia!

If you visited us at Quiltcon you got to see this sample up close, and now the pattern is available in our online shop.

Sylvia is an experiment in monochrome. Using a very limited color palette allows you to focus on form and technique, rather than worrying about color.

Wool applique the "squircle" shapes onto the background fabric, then embellish with embroidery as much as you desire. Using rayon threads adds a welcome sparkle and excitement.

Finished size: 19" x 21" wall hanging.

Sylvia Sew Along

We're kicking off a Sylvia Sew Along on July 1st!! We had originally planned to start on June 1st, but time got away from us so we've had to push it back.

Learn wool applique with us and make your wall hanging alongside other quilters.

The Sew Along will last 6 weeks, with a different part of the pattern covered in each week, like this:

1. Welcome/read pattern/gather supplies
2. Prepping Background, cutting wool pieces
3. Wool applique
4. Embroidery
5. Quilting
6. Show & Tell week
