Want to see some adorable new fabric?

Just in time for some fun summer sewing, we’ve got Suzy’s Minis, by Suzy Ultman for Robert Kaufman.  These adorable novelty prints are great for kids projects, but the small scale allows them to be slipped into just about anything for a cute little surprise.

The llamas are the largest of the group, at 1.5″ tall, and the bees are only 0.5″!

Robert Kaufman will soon have a free pattern available on their website, using 6 of Suzy’s Minis and 6 solids (plus white) that would make a quick and easy baby quilt. Our fat quarter bundle would give you the perfect amount of Suzy’s Minis to get started.

I absolutely love the pink llama fabric! That would be so adorable on a quilt for my niece’s room. How large is the pattern? I wish I had time to make my own, but right now I think buying a quilt would be a more realistic option. Thanks for the inspiration!
