2019 Row by Row "Taste the Experience" Kit

The theme for the 2019 Row by Row Experience is "Taste the Experience" -- everyone has heard New York City referred to as "The Big Apple", but have you ever wondered where that came from?

It turns out it comes from horse racing! In the 1920's the sports writer John J. Fitz Gerald started to refer to winning the NYC races as "winning the big apple"... and the name stuck!

We pay tribute to the foodie nickname with our 2019 row which features a big applique apple and hand embroidered NYC skyline on a black background.

Finished size: 18" x 18" (the "Foxy Boxy" shape)

Kit includes our original row pattern plus all the fabric, fusible, and embroidery floss necessary. The skyline is embroidered on after the apple is fused to the background.
