Tula Pink’s next fabric collection is due to arrive NEXT WEEK. (Quick aside: have to heard the news that Free Spirit Fabrics has been acquired and will stay open?)
This collection is Tula’s 25th fabric group and to celebrate that huge achievement, Tula has brought back some of her “all stars” from previous collections, all reimagined in new colors! In addition, she’s designed the perfect coordinating blenders: stripes and dots. We may actually be more excited about the blenders than the main prints this time… how often does that happen!?
And here are the coordinates… can you see the possibilities??
As always with Tula, we ordered the entire collection (42 prints!) and we expect it to sell out quickly. Our shipment arrives next week, so we’re doing preorders now in case you want to reserve a full collection bundle for yourself which will ship out on day 1.
Exclusive Quilt Kit
To go along with this collection, Tula has come up with a brand new quilt. Check it out:
This giant dresden plate quilt is called Pom Pom, and Tula designed it in collaboration with Stacey Day. Tula and Stacey were inspired by the yarn pom poms they used to make when they were kids! If you’ve ever wrapped yarn around a pom-pom maker, you will recognize this look. The stark positive/negative background makes the colorful prints stand out with aplomb.
The quilt finishes at a generous 70″ x 80″, which gives it great visual impact. Here’s what the kit packaging looks like:
The kit has all the fabric necessary to make the top, binding, AND backing of this quilt. Plus it comes with the pattern (of course), and 5 plastic templates to use when cutting out the dresden pieces. The kit includes over 23 YARDs of fabric. Yowzers!
Here’s a closeup of the quilt so you can get a better idea of the fabrics and colors:
Don’t you love the deeply saturated, fun colors!?!
Tula Pink kits are always limited edition and they ALWAYS sell out fast. Kits are due to arrive in the store in a few weeks. We’re taking preorders starting NOW, and we’ll leave them open until the manufacturer tells us they’re sold out.
When you place a preorder, you’ll enter your credit card number during checkout but you won’t be charged until your order ships. Please note that if you use Apple Pay or Amazon Payments at checkout, you will be charged upfront as those systems do not support a “pay later” setup.
