Andrea approached this quilt differently, as a piece of art meant to hang on a wall. Inspired by the works of modern painters such as Mondrian and Kandinsky, she worked with bold colors and a strong composition. Traditionally pieced, large-scale, half- square triangles and rectangles—along with raw-edge, fused appliqué circles—make construction go quickly, leaving you time to have fun with the quilting.
