By popular demand, we are running the Roaring 20's BOM again! We're calling this round the Roaring 22 BOM.
Designed by Judith Gauthier, the Roaring 20's quilt showcases a bold Art Deco look with curves and angles done in rich colors. All the fabrics in this quilt are StudioE Peppered Cottons, which are wonderfully soft yarn dye solids.
Each of the 7 rows is made up of 6 12" blocks. Blocks are assembled with regular piecing, foundation paper piecing, and some applique.
Finished size: 72" x 84"
BOM Timeline
This BOM runs for 6 months, from March 2022 to August 2022.
The BOM includes the instructions, videos, and all the fabric needed for the top and binding.
Optional supplies
This BOM uses several quilt piecing techniques including foundation paper piecing, regular piecing, and applique.
You will need to photocopy the foundation paper piecing patterns included in your shipments onto foundation paper, and for one month, the pattern uses plastic templates to cut the pieces before piecing.
To make this process easier for you, we've gathered the needed supplies and BOM members can order them at a 15% discount!
There are two options:
DIY Pack: all the foundation paper and template plastic you need for all the blocks in the Roaring 20's quilt. You will get one package of Carol Doak's Foundation Paper and twelve 8.5" x 11" sheets of heat-resistant blank template plastic (which can go through a regular copy machine).
Printed Pack: Let us do the printing for you! This pack includes 7 copies (one more than you need) of each of the foundation paper piecing patterns printed on foundation paper and all of the templates printed at full scale on template plastic. No need to go to the copy shop or trace templates!

FAQ
Q: What fabrics will I get?
A: All the fabrics are exactly the same as shown in the photo of the finished quilt. The fabrics are all StudioE Peppered Cottons, which are solid yarn dyed wovens.
Q: I like this pattern but I don't want to use this fabric. Can I join the BOM without fabric?
A: This BOM is only available with fabric included. The manufacturer does not sell this pattern individually.
Q: Can I participate if I don't live in the NYC area?
A: YES! Shipping is included in the price.
Q: Is the BOM available internationally?
A: Yes. For international customers, choose the "International" BOM option at checkout. Shipping will be calculated at checkout based on your address. You will receive one package with all 6 months in it at the beginning of the program.
