Scaredy Cat Collection by Rachel Hauer!

Scaredy Cat Collection by Rachel Hauer!

We hope you had an amazing summer with loads of time with family and the great outdoors! It is that time of year again (in the northern hemisphere anyway) where we are getting ready for cooler days, less daylight, and more sewing! It is also time for all of the Fall and Winter sewing and quilting to take over our sewing rooms!

Spooky season is right around the corner, it makes its appearance right after Pumpkin Spice latte season (happening now). To help you with your fabric selections, we have some of the most sought after Halloween collections in the shop that we are loving and think you will too!

Rachel Hauer's Scaredy Cat for FreeSpirit Fabrics is an amazing collection for all who love things that go BUMP in the night! We are even smitten with the fabric names like "Howl At The Moon", Batstooth (a super cool update of traditional houndstooth), and "Crazy Quilts Orange!"  Really just a clever collection!

"Halloween is such a fun holiday for many reasons – the candy, the costumes, and for Rachel Hauer, the nostalgia. She picks out her Halloween costume in January! This collection is about a timeless Halloween, full of familiar faces - pumpkins, bats, black cats and skeletons."

We are carrying the full collection (15 fabrics)pre-cut bundles in 1/2 yard and fat quarter bundles, 9 piece bundles in 1/2 yard and fat quarter bundles, yardage (for those who cannot get enough of this great collection, like us),and we even have a wonderful Halloween Cats quilt kit using the pattern by Lorna from Sew Fresh Quilts!

If you are looking for even more to make with this collection, FreeSpirit Fabrics has two free patterns that will send a delightful tingle through your bones!  You can tap on the images to get your copy of the patterns!
