7/26 Free Motion Quilting on a Home Machine with Tia Curtis 2-5pm
Are you ready to make the jump to free motion quilting your own quilts? Have you mastered the stipple and are ready to move on to something else? If you are, please join Tia Curtis for an afternoon of quilting! Tia will show you how to turn common doodles into wonderful quilting designs that will make any quilt come alive with texture. Tia will also provide you with a myriad of designs to incorporate into your quilting repertoire and give you hands on instruction and guidance while practicing quilt designs on the domestic machine.
BERNINA sewing machines are provided for use in the classroom. If you'd rather use your own machine, please bring it with you and arrive 15 minutes early so we can get you set up.

Level: All. Must know how to use a sewing machine. No prior free motion quilting experience needed.
This class meets from 2-5 pm on Friday, July 26th
Supplies to bring with you (all supplies available for purchase at Gotham Quilts except notebook and pen/pencil):
- Basic sewing supplies
- 18" x 22" Quilt sandwich made with solids
- Your choice of threads
- Safety pins
- Quilting gloves (Machingers)
- Notebook and pen/pencil for practicing designs
BERNINA sewing machines and neutral thread is provided for use in the classroom.
