4/4 Intro to Quilting with a Walking Foot Evening 6-9pm

Want to quilt your own quilts on your home sewing machine? Learn the basics of straight line (and a few slight curves) quilting in this intro class. We'll cover the basics including basting, marking, quilting parallel lines, and basic patterns. Want to use your own machine to learn on instead of using our classroom machines? Bring your machine with you to class! You'll need a walking foot or a sewing machine with a built-in dual feed system.

Class fee includes WALK: Master Machine Quilting with Your Walking Foot and quilt sandwiches for using in class.

Teacher: Andrea Deal
Must know how to use a sewing machine. No quilting experience necessary.

This class meets from 6-9 pm on:
Thursday, April 4th

Sewing machines and neutral thread will be provided for use in the classroom.

Required supplies to bring with you (all supplies available for purchase at Gotham Quilts):
Thread Scissors
Marking Pen/Pencils
Seam Ripper
Camera for notes (optional)
